OPI DS Luxurious and DS Indulgence

Happy September! By the time you're reading this I am already on my little vacation! So hope all is well!

Today I have OPI's new designer series for the Fall to share with you.

DS Luxurious is a super bright orange base with golden shimmers. 2 coats. The gold shimmers make this polish look as if it's glowing. It's such a bright color, and it looks amazing on the nails.

DS Indulgence is a red base with gold shimmers. 2 coats. Again the gold shimmers make these polishes come to life (not literally).

I am SUPER happy with these two new designer series polishes. They are so much better compared to the previous ones. Although they're not holos, these two are still pretty amazing. My favorite from this happens to be Luxurious. I can't get over the fact how glowy this polish is in person. Luxurious is a definite must get!

The formula for these were as amazing as the color. It applied evenly with no fuss at all.

What do you guys think of these two?

(These were sent to me for review)

  1. Your swatches are so excellent! I almost wish I hadn't clicked to make the pictures bigger. That shimmer is just perfect, huh?! I think Indulgence would be better with my skintone, but of course I'll take a look at both when I finally see them. ;)

  3. I also am super happy with both of these DS releases...they do had a tish of rough finish, but level well and the roughness is goners with a couple good clear top coats. I need to do a side by side of the red one (Indulgence) against Zoya's Reva - on white paper they look really close with a touch more gold in Reva & also that gold in Reva is smaller particles as well - odd as bottle to bottle, they don't look like they would be even close. Ditto with Zoya Kimmy and the DS Luxurious - close on white paper drops I have done.

    1. Forgot to add - ya think OPI heard all the 'no - no' of last yrs' DS releases that were nothing but chunky, rough glitters? On top of this yrs shades being great soooooo glad they did not try to push glitter at $12 per bottle at us.
