Butter London Knackered

Today I have Butter London's Knackered to share with you guys. This is my first time doing a swatch and review for Butter London. I've been seeing the polishes around but never decided to try it, but as I was browsing Macy's one day, I found them, and decided to give it a try.

I did Knackered over Rescue Beauty Lounge Mismas. It was too sheer on its own and I didn't feel like applying 4-5 coats.


Knackered is a sheer duochrome mixed with green, purple, and holo glitter. This is done with two coats over Mismas.

I love how that the base color still shows. My pictures does this polish no justice. It is gorgeous!! I'm so happy that I got it. What makes this interesting also is the holo glitters. It's still pretty alone but with purple underneath it brings out the duochrome. I should've took a picture of it alone, but I was in a rush to put it over another color. The formula was pretty good. It was smooth and I had no problems. Butter London polishes usually retails for $14 per bottle. Pretty decent price.

GOSH Swatches & Review

Today I have GOSH polishes to share with you guys. This is my first time ever trying this brand of polish. I've read and seen great swatches and reviews on this brand. I was super excited when I saw these at my local Duane Reade. Once again these swatches were done before I broke my nail, aside from the first swatch!


Mystical is a gorgeous taupe base with purple shimmer. 2 coats. This one reminded me a lot of Chanel's Paradoxal. They are not dupes though, because Mystical is more brown and lighter than Paradoxal.


Forest Floor is a forest green creme. 2 coats. Such a beautiful green. I received a lot of compliments when I had this on.


Rebell Yell is a blackened teal creme. 2 coats. I love how this one looks black, but with lighting the teal shows!


Ocean is a metallic aqua blue. 2 coats. Very minimal visible brush strokes for a metallic. This one was super bright and very appealing to the eyes.


Purple Heart is a duochrome of purple and green. 2 coats. I love duochromes so when I saw this one, it was a definite must have for me.

The formula for these were excellent. They really opaque in one coat, but I did two to smooth things out and out of habit. They applied so smooth and even, including the metallic. I love applying polishes with no frustration. It makes me happy lol. I don't know much about the brand but it won't be the last time I will be reviewing for this brand. I will be stalking my Duane Reade for any new polishes from GOSH. I believe these were $8 a bottle. I think they're worth it being that their formula is excellent and the colors are gorgeous.

Color Club Magnetic Force in Cop an Attitude

Today I have Color Club's Cop an Attitude from the Magnetic Force Collection to share with you guys. Here's a silly story on how I obtained this polish. I was ordering the Hunger Games polishes from China Glaze, and I was going to get the whole Color Club Magnetic Force collection but decided against it to save some money. But I had way too many polishes in my cart and didn't double check like I usually do. It seems that I have left this one in my cart by accident!

This is my first time ever trying magnetic polishes, so it didn't turn out that awesome.


Cop An Attitude is a copper shimmer. Two coats. The magnetic seems to be a downward wavy line. I think for a first timer I did pretty good!

The magnet for this one is really strong. I literally only put it over each nail for less than 5 seconds and the design shows already. The formula for this one was pretty good too. It wasn't clumpy or thick, it applied pretty well.

I'm looking forward to play with more magnetic polishes! And I am now tempted to get the rest of the collection!

I love Disney and the classic Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, so I am really excited about this collection. I can't wait to get my hands on these pinks and that glitter!!

Three Polishes from Essie Navigate Her Collection

Today I have three polishes from the Essie Navigate Her Spring collection to share with you guys. Essie came out with 6 shades perfect for the Spring, but only three attracted my eyes. (Still on a budget!) Now I know in my past posts you can see that my middle nail is all crooked, and now in this post it's suddenly all straight. My nail didn't magically grow (although I wished it did). I swatched these before my nail broke but never got to post it!


Essie Navigate Her is a pale green creme. 2 coats. How unique is this green? It's not like the typical mint greens we see that's for Spring.


A Crewed Interest is a pastel peach creme. 3 coats. Very spring like color.


To Buy or Not To Buy is a pastel lavender creme. 3 coats. In the bottle you can see there's hints of aqua blue shimmer. But on the nail it's not quite visible. You have to have strong light and stare at it hard. The only reason I bought this one was because of the shimmer, so I was a bit disappointed that it didn't show well on the nail, since I have a lot of lavender polishes.

There were three other colors but I wasn't that interested in them. I really love Navigate Her, it's such a gorgeous green. The formula for these were pretty good. I only had troubles with A Crewed Interest. It seem to be thick and wouldn't go on smooth. It only look smoothed after a top coat. These are available wherever Essie polishes are sold for $8 a bottle. I got mine at Macys.

Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in Black Tie

Happy Sunday! Today I have Sally Hansen's Diamond Strength in Black Tie to share with you guys. Ever since I saw swatches of this polish, I've been hunting it down every local store I go to. And finally one day, I was browsing in Duane Reade and found this beauty!


Black Tie is a duochrome in a charcoal black base with flashes of teal and purple. 2 coats.

I know we've been seeing a lot of similar duochromes lately, but this one is stunning. And it's from Sally Hansen! So that's a bit rare. I don't really remember the price for this, but I believe it was somewhere between $4-$6. Well worth the money in my opinion.
