OPI Germany Collection Swatches & Review

Hello all! I will be going away for a mini vacation for this weekend. I'll have a few a posts schedule since I've been MIA for so long. But anyways, today I have OPI's Germany collection to share with you guys. This collection made for the fall consists of 12 gorgeous colors with some shimmers and some cremes. What I like about this collection is that there aren't much dark colors in this collection.

Unfor-Greta-Bly Blue is a frosty blue shimmer. 2 coats. Although we've seen many frosty blues out there, I really like the tone of this one. It's not too dark and not too light.

Suzi & the 7 Düsseldorfs is a frosty purple shimmer.

German-icure by OPI is a vampy brownish red shimmer. 2 coats. I love this one! Its perfect for the fall.

Danke-Shiny Red is a red shimmer. 2 coats. This one is super shiny.

Every Month is Oktoberfest is an amazing color!! It has a purple blue base with flashes of red, purple, and gold shimmers. 2 coats. I love the purple base of this color because it shows.

Deutsche You Want Me Baby is a rusty orange shimmer. 2 coats. Another perfect color for the fall!

Schnapps Out of It! is a rosey mauve with silver shimmers. 2 coats. This is a very interesting color and is quite hard to describe. It looks a bit orange mix with some rosey color.

Berlin There Done That is a taupey grey creme. 2 coats. We've seen this type of color a lot. But it's quite rich and creamy.

My Very First Knockwurst is a light pale pink creme with a mix of beige. 2 coats. I thought this would look really weird on my skin tone but I actually like it!

Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine! is a dark grey-green creme. 2 coats. Does nein mean no in German? lol

Don't Talk Bach to Me is a yellow green creme with silver shimmer. 2 coats.

Don't Pretzel My Buttons is a nude creme. 2 coats. Loving this one on my skin tone as well!

The colors for this collection is pretty awesome. I love how OPI is having so many different colors out there and not to mention being different. Fall is usually mixed with dark, and medium colors; but I'm seeing a lot of bright colors here. The frosty shimmers are amazing, they're so shiny it really looks like they are glowing. Every Month is Oktoberfest happens to be my favorite of the collection. There wasn't a single color I didn't like.

The formula for these were amazing. They applied flawlessly with no issues at all. The frosty shimmers did not leave any visible brush strokes, and the cremes very creamy.

Overall, I am happy with this collection and is looking forward to more collections coming from OPI.

What do you guys think of this collection?

Nicole by OPI Target Exclusives for Fall 2012 Swatches & Review

Hey everyone! First off I would like to apologize for the lack of updates. Works been keeping me busy and making me exhausted to do anything. I finally had time to do some swatching though!

Today I have Nicole by OPI Target Exclusives for Fall 2012 to share with you guys. This collection contains some gorgeous colors!

Mer-maid for Each Other is a mirror gold, green, blue chrome. 2 coats. We have seen this polish almost everywhere. But this is definitely the cheaper alternative compared to Chanel or Deborah Lippmann. They're not exact dupes but very similar.

Iris My Case is a purple chrome with a mauve/orange duo-chrome. 2 coats. Once again we have seen this type of duo-chrome around but I didn't buy the other brands, so I thought this one was pretty awesome.

For Gold Times Sake is a multicolored microglitter. 2 coats. This has so many colors in it. There's gold, blue, purple, green, pink, and red. I actually wore this as a mani one day and went shopping. People were asking me what the color was and where to get it. It's a very pretty polish.

If the Blue Fits... is another multicolored microglitter. 2 coats (should've done 3) Again with so many colors in this one as well. The main color is blue, with light blue, pink and purple glitters.

Just Busta Mauve is a multicolored microglitter with a bronzey red base. It has blue, gold, pink, orange, red, and purple glitters. This color is... I must say crazy. I have never seen any polish like this one before. It's definitely unique. If you spot this at Target, better snatch it up right away! This one is my favorite from the whole collection.

The formula for these were amazing. I had no issues with application. The chromes weren't streaky and the streaks weren't noticeable at all. The glitters takes the trophy for this collection. The multicolored microglitters are just unique and it's so shiny. Overall, I am happy with this collection. It's good to finally see different polishes coming out instead of the same old ones.

What do you guys think of these?

Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color

Today I have Sally Hansen's Magnetic Nail color to share with you guys. Magnetic polishes has been a trend for this spring/summer and I was very excited when I heard Sally Hansen have magnetic polishes.

Electric Emerald is an olive green that shifts into a darker green.
Polar Purple is a mauve purple metallic.

Ionic Indigo is an indigo blue metallic

Red-y Response is a deep magenta metallic

Kinetic Copper is a copper metallic with microglitters

Graphite Gravity is a charcoal black/gray metallic

The formula for these were pretty nice, I applied one coat over each nail and another coat doing one finger at a time. The magnetic is pretty strong, I only held it over my nails for about 5 seconds or less and the magnetic design is visible on the nail already.

The only thing I wish for this collection to have is more magnetic designs! I have no complaints for this collection though. These are probably the best magnetic polishes I've tried so far.

They're available at most drugstores for about $8.99 per bottle.

Ozotic 528

Today I have Ozotic 528 to share with you guys. This is my first time trying Ozotic brand polishes. I was able to purchase it at llarowe.com. I've actually had it for quite awhile, and it was in my untried bin. Decided to finally put it on!

Ozotic 528 is a multi-chrome glitter of pink, aqua, green, purple in a clear base. I did it over black to show the glitters more. The colors of the glitter changes in different lighting and angles.

I think layering 528 over certain colors will bring out the multi-chrome even more. This glitter is gorgeous I must say. And the formula itself is not bad. It's a little thick but that's typical of glitters. One coat was good enough but I did two just for a more intense look of it.

This is available at llarowe.com for $14.50. Well worth the money.

NYC Big City Dazzle and Matte Me Crazy

Hey everyone! Can you believe its August already? Summer's almost over and I feel like I haven't done much :( I've been quite busy lately so I apologize for the lack of posts. Today I have NYC brand polish to share with you guys. I never tried NYC polishes before shockingly; being that they're very affordable at drugstores.

Big City Dazzle over a fuchsia creme. It is a multi-colored glitter in a clear base. I decided to do it over fuchsia because the main colors of these glitters seems to be a fuchsia color

Matte Me Crazy Matte Top Coat is well a matte top coat. It doesn't seem like a real matte, more like a rubbery finish to it. I still like it though!

Macro shot of the glitters with matte me crazy

I can't really say much for the formulas being that they're both are really top coats. But I will definitely be trying more NYC polishes since they're only $1.99 at drugstores. I did like the matte top coat since it was a bit different from the others.
